GRAND MASTER BOBBY LAMATTINA "TOKYO JOE"

Grand Master - 10th Degree Black Belt 

 

Grandmaster is not just another karate enthusiast, he has over 44 years of experience, has taught over 44,000 students and has been serving the Nashua area since 1982.  Grandmaster is known for his enthusiasm, charisma, knowledge and his immense love to serve people for which his expertise as an instructor goes unprecedented.  

 

He is one of the most dynamic pioneers of Shaolin Kempo Karate, holding a 10th degree black belt in the style.Grandmaster is also a 3 time World Sport Fighting and Weapons Karate Champion and has dedicated his life to helping people to instill good morals and values. His goal in life is to educate his students on character traits that will last a lifetime. The title Grandmaster is a very special title used for chief instructors of Yodan or higher with thirty years experience and covers a broad range of higher ranks and ages. KYOSHI DAVE LAMATTINA

7th Degree Black Belt

 

Kyoshi Dave (Kyoshi is an advanced teaching title and rank used in the traditional martial arts for Chief Instructors with over twenty years of experience and covers a broad range of higher ranks and ages) currently holds the rank of 7th Degree Black Belt, which he received on May 07, 2010.

 

Kyoshi Dave has been teaching thousands of students for over 25 years. He has been studying the traditional Martial Arts, Aikido, Jiu Jitsu and Chin Na for most of his life. He was voted 2004 EFC Instructor of the Year at an international martial arts conference in Santa Clara, California.

 

Kyoshi Dave enjoys watching his students develop their mind, body and spirit in the martial arts. He has dedicated his life to passing on his vast knowledge and expertise in the martial arts to all his students. His goal is to help his students develop morals and values that will last a lifetime. Besides the martial arts, Kyoshi is dedicated to his wife, Tashi Felicia, his sons Dominic and Maxximo, and daughter Bella, who visit the studio as often as they can to watch their Dad teach.

SHIHAN WILLIAM BILL QUICK

5th Degree Black Belt

 

Shihan Bill started studying Karate at the age of 43 and has been studying the martial arts for twenty-one years, the last sixteen with Tokyo Joe's Studio on West Pearl Street in Nashua, NH. He recently earned his fifth degree stripe in a two day test in November 2010 promoting him to the rank of Go Dan (5th degree Black Belt) in the Tokyo Joe's system.

 

The title of Shihan was given to him by 10th Degree Grand Master Bobby LaMattina and 7th Degree Kyoshi Dave LaMattina. Shihan Bill has taught the beginner adult and the advanced under black belt classes for many years and recently started to help teach some of the afternoon Children and Teen classes.

 

He believes that adults and children can benefit by doing good Stamina and Cardio conditioning exercises, and studying Karate techniques. These exercises will keep your body healthy, and your mind sharp, so that you can meet any mental or physical challenge in Today's society.

SENSEI GREGG DOPPSTADT

3rd Degree Black Belt

 

Sensei Gregg joined Tokyo Joe's of Self Defense in the beginning of 2002 with his youngest son Andrew. He became an Instructor in 2004 and has taught Karate at numerous Elementary Schools in Nashua for the 21st Century Program.

 

Sensei Gregg received his 3rd degree Black Belt from Tokyo Joe's in May of 2009. He also holds the rank of Guru in Valencia Lemaco from Master Guru Felix Valencia. Sensei Gregg's two sons and twin Grandsons have also attended Tokyo Joe's; his youngest son, Andrew, achieving the rank of 1st Degree Black Belt. Sensei Gregg also enjoys studying Aikido, Chin Na, Escrima and Kali, Mande Muda Pencak Silat, Thai Kick Boxing, MMA and combative firearms.free to change the image.

SENSEI LINCOLN BROWN

3nd Degree Black Belt

 

Sensei Lincoln has been studying the Martial Arts with us since the Fall of 2005 and currently holds the rank of 3nd degree black belt, which he received in 2012. He began at the studio early in his career and enjoys both the training and the teaching aspects of martial arts. His includes teaching swimming, fencing, lifesaving, and armory.

 

Based on his experiences, Sensei Lincoln believes that martial art of all forms has a strong positive influence on everybodyÆs personal growth. He loves the daily challenges that the martial artsgives him and forward to them every day. All of his family are involved in the martial arts. His wife Lisa currently holds a Black Belt in Kickboxing and all three of his children have studied martial arts at some point in their lives. Sensei Lincoln looks forward to seeing you in the dojo!

SENSEI ROB FIERO

2nd Degree Black Belt

 

Sensei Rob has been studying at Tokyo Joe's Studios since February of 2008 and earned his 2nd degree black belt in November 2012.

 

In addition to training in karate and kickboxing at the dojo, Sensei Rob is very active helping various nonprofit organizations in the Nashua area and works as a software engineer. One of the most beneficial aspects of helping teach classes has been seeing students, both children and adults, improving themselves and getting in better shape.

 

SENSEI DENISE COLLETTE

2nd Degree Black Belt

 

Sensei Denise has been instructing or assisting at classes since December 2009 and currently holds the rank of 2nd degree black belt, which she received in April 2013. She has participated as part of the Demo Team at local events demonstrating self-defense techniques. She completed the Instructor Certification program in May 2010, and was given the title of Sensei by the Grand Master after earning her Black Belt, May 6, 2011.

 

Sensei Denise loves the self-confidence and strength Martial Arts provides. In addition to karate, she enjoys keeping active with her sons, Brian, a graduate from, Clarkson University and Kevin, a 1st degree black belt, who is in high school.

 

SENSEI KEVIN WATTS

1st Degree Black Belt

 

Sensei Kevin has been with the studio for 17 ½ years now. He has grown and developed through the Tokyo Joe's Martial Arts System into a loyal, respectable, and self-disciplined person through the challenging and rigorous training. He appreciates everything that Grandmaster, Kyoshi, and all the other Black Belts at the studio have taught and shared with him over the years.

 

Sensei Kevin plans to continue his training with the studio and in addition to sharing the many benefits and qualities he has attained with the students he helps teach. Kevin loves volunteering his time teaching the little panther class while sharing his knowledge, especially because of the joy that he feels when watching young children learn and grow in the martial arts
